Karaoke every Wednesday and Saturday nights at 7 PM.
Dances Saturday nights at 8 PM except the first Saturday of every month.
Just to let you know, the first Spaghetti dinner made us money and we have most supplies for another. (We would like to see more members come to the dinner)
We will be hosting a Spaghetti Supper on the 2nd Friday of each month except for November and December, starting at 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm. The next one will be July 8th. We do need a Project Manager and volunteers for this to keep it going so please step up to lead this event.
It was also approved to to have beer, soda and water sales at one event at Stone Mountain Harley-Davidson in Conyers and one event for food, beer, soda and water. The date for the just beer event is July 23. The food event is Sept 17. All these events will be used for membership drives.
Other upcoming events are a Chili Cook-Off hosted by VFW Post 5290 and the Rockdale Trailblazers on September 24. 2011. There will be a $25 entry fee and a $500 prize for Best Chili. Also, there will be contest on the Best Themed Booth. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks will be provided by the Post. The rules are that the cooking begins at 9 AM and all cooking will be ended at 12 PM.
Post and Auxiliary meetings are the second Saturday of every month except when District or State Meeting is the same day at 10 AM.
The next Post meetings will be August 12, 2011.
